Marvell Noir

So, this poem is by far my favorite of all the ones I've read this semester. Marvell Noir by Ann Lauinger, is a poem centered around the idea of film Noir's. I love old films like those, the lighting, everything about them is interesting to me, although I admit I never knew they were called Noirs. I love the honest tone of the poem, how uncaring and thoughtless it is...that's exactly how a man would think too...so I was suprised a female wrote it. It's saucy, and sexy, and heartbreaking. Love it.
